PRIORITIZING ACCOUNTABILITY
Governance is the foundation of everything we do at Mowilex. We believe that our Environmental (E) and Social (S) efforts are dependent upon creating a solid framework of Good Governance (G). From following Good Manufacturing Practices, to being a good corporate citizen in all the communities we operate, we ensure that we are operating in the best manner possible, through prioritizing increased transparency and accountability. To uphold those principles, we have implemented several measures.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity (DEI)
At Mowilex, we prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) throughout our organization. We ensure fair opportunities in recruitment and equitable compensation for all employees. DEI training is fundamental to fostering awareness and understanding among our workforce. Notably, more than 50% of our senior managerial roles are occupied by women, underscoring our commitment to gender equality. These efforts reflect our dedication to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to succeed.
Whistleblowing System
Mowilex.WBS, our Whistleblowing System, established by the Internal Audit Department (IAD), encourages and facilitates reporting of wrongdoing, unethical behavior, illegal activities, or fraud within our organization. It provides a confidential channel for individuals to voice concerns about misconduct without fear of retaliation. Acting as a deterrent, it promotes adherence to company policies and procedures. In 2022, we observed increased employee awareness of misconduct’s impact, reflected in rising reports through Mowilex.WBS.
Conflict of Interest Statement (COIS)
Mowilex has developed a policy aimed at identifying, disclosing, and managing situations where the personal interests of employees intersect with their professional roles. This policy, known as the Conflict of Interest Statement (COIS), is jointly managed by the HR Division and the Internal Audit Department, reflecting a collaborative effort to comprehensively address this issue.
Gift Policy
Introduced in December 2022, Mowilex’s Gift Exchange Policy provides clear guidelines and regulations for gift exchanges among employees, customers, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring ethical standards, transparency, and fairness. The policy establishes practices for giving and receiving gifts, including monetary limits, permissible situations, and reporting requirements for gifts beyond specified thresholds, enhancing transparency and accountability across our operations.
